League of Legends Greek Championship is the biggest League of Legends Championship in the Balkans. The 8 best Balkan teams cross their swords with the ultimate goal of the 1st position and the 21,000 € in cash prizes. The third season takes place in double round-robin format, where each team faces twice the remaining 7 teams in Best of 3 games.
The top 2 teams are qualified directly to the Final 4 at the end of the regular season. The teams acquiring from the 3rd up to the 6th position compete for the playoffs, with 2 of them completing the Final 4. The 7th team plays in the next season's playouts, while the 8th is relegated. As an obligation, the 3/5 teams' main players need to be Balkan nationals.
The Balkans consist of Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, FYROM, Montenegro. You can see the LGC Season 3 analytical rulebook here.
Season 1 Champion: Instinct Esports
In Season 1, team Instinct Esports finished second in the regular time, but managed to win the champion's title in front of 3,500 attendees at the Tae Kwon Do stadium in Faliro and 7,000 online viewers. However, it should be mentioned that its competitor, Team Arsenal, had fought with 4 of its 5 key members, due to the absence of Orome.

Season 2 Champion: Greek Regenesis eSports
The second season’s finals were realised in Thessaloniki, that is, the Headquarters of the team Greek Regenesis eSports. The latter did not deal with any particular difficulty against Different Dimension and Gplay, as it won in both games with 3-1, acquiring the coveted first position.
